The link below reflects on which various gadgets you should consider keeping and those to toss!
It is certainly nice that books are considered a keeper, however, I’m not sure I would have classified them as a gadget. In our home, we would not be getting rid of them, even if we also purchase e-books.
In any case, it is an interesting short article with some insight. What is your opinion on the list? Please leave your comments as I’d enjoy knowing.

Having recently moved, I found this article
informative. Although, hardly a gadget,I reluctantly
gave away many boxes of my beloved books to the
library. One day I couldn’t resist stopping at the
lirary book sale. I only bought one book, about food, of course.
When I opened it, I realized was one that I had
given away.
I want to add that I live in an artist and book
lovers city, Sarasota, Florida. The independent
book stores are busy and flourishing in Sarasota
and her islands. A new book store, Books 1, recently
opened on Main St, near other area book shops.
All are a success.
Brenda, thanks for writing. I’m not surprised you purchased a book that had been a treasure before.
It is wonderful that the book stores in Sarasota re doing so well. I know they have to market more, but I enjoy browsing book stores. –Maralyn
