What’s the New York Times’ newest bestseller list? E-books. The Times just announced that, beginning in early 2011, it will add an e-book bestseller list to the 14 lists it already publishes. Editors have been working on a ranking system for two years. During that time, devices like the Kindle, Nook and iPad have created a boom in e-book sales. Will some titles sell better as e-books than printed books? Does this open the arena for self-published e-books to make the list? New bestsellers are about to be crowned.
