- When difficulties arise, discuss them and make a plan of action. Sometimes readjusting the schedule for finishing is necessary.
- If you live close, arrange a day every week or two to work together. A lot of it may be brainstorming, adjusting outline or direction, or talking. It is necessary.
- If you live far apart, plan weekly telephone calls, long e-mails, and a few plane trips. Time together is well-spent.
- The synergy of two imaginations produces many new ideas.
