The quote I’m listing is one that has been around as long as I remember and I don’t know who originally said it or its original form.

“Its extremely easy to make something simple complicated and extremely complicated to make something complicated simple.” –Unknown

Today, while reading a publishing newsletter I receive, I saw the following statement from Johnny Hamilton and it was a different take on the same thought process:

“The less you know about a subject, the more elaborate the translation must be. The more you know, the fewer words required. Acronyms suffice sometimes. No?”–Johnny Hamilton

The group was sharing a rejection letter on a psychological book. The academics at the publisher went on and on explaining themselves, and it is worth framing. Sorry I can’t share it, but it’s not mine to share.
